Last year a month before the Karwa Chouth Vrat,
my wife expressed her inability to observe the karva Chauth Vrat for me
which she used to do for last 14 years due to her health & advise of
the Doctor to avoid any fast. Instead of her doing fast for my, she
requested why can't I do the same for her. it was little hurting for me
to listen the same. But as I loved my wife very much, I thought to why
not experience the Karwa Chouth Vrat. I said O. K.
When, I looked on internet & understand from my wife about the fast, it looked very difficult as one has not to take even a drop of water the entire day. Any way as I was prepared to observe the fast, I started visualising myself as my wife's wife. To do that, I started some tummy excercises to have flat tummy as I was supposed to wear Saree on the fast day. As suggested by my wife, I got full body waxing done at VLCC. A day before Karwa Chauth day, I had to go to Hyderabad for a business trip. My wife gave the the set of Saree, Blouse, Bra, Panty, Payal. High Heel Sandle, Neclace, Clip on ear rings etc. to practice while I stay in the Hotel. She has given little tips on how to wear the same. I was excited to try everything the first time. As I was trying everything first time, I thought to get my make up done at Beauty parlour of the 5 Start Hotel where I was staying as a practice session. When I requested for the appointment, the lady in beauty parlor first laught & tried to avoid the situation. But, once she learned the purpose, she agreed to give me an appointment at 5.30 pm. I wore saeee, sandle, necklace, earing etc. to the best of my ability & reached to the beauty parlour from my Hotel room. I was asked to also get my pedicure & manicure done with french style nail colour on tips before a decent night party make up with eye, face , lips well decorated. After the makeup, I tried to go to the bar & then walked around with help of the Duty manager a nice lady on duty to protect me from any unwanted situation. Before going to bed
Next day morning, I took morning flight & came to my home. I did not take any thing the entire day. In the evening my wife asked me to get ready as her wife in saree. She did my make up. I saw her in screen after looking to the Moon, worship her with water & then touched her feet. She offered me dinner & put sindur on my first karwa chouth fast.
